Where will I be in 10 years? Essay
They say in one’s life we all make choices, but in the end, our choices make us. You’re about to embark with me unto the long, wavy road of my life, and watch it unfolds through my eyes. This is my life as I see it will be like ten years from now. I have most of it planned out already. This is my short story. School has always been an important goal in my life.
Growing up I always wanted to go into professional school. In the near future I plan to work hard and finish college with at least my B. S.
in Psychology.Subsequently, the profession that I want to go into is Physician Assistant. Now that I’m older I realized that this is surely plausible.
Ten years into the future I’d like to think that I am working as a Physician Assistant. I like to understand people’s feelings, how they come to a point in their lives; that they need someone to help them cope with their feelings. My desires to choose this career path have originated from an early age. Although as a young person, I did not quite understand what doctors essentially do. My desire heightened by the sick people I came across.As I grew up, I steadily understood what it demanded; being a medical professional and that strengthened my desire even more.
The fact that doctors save lives also forms part of why I wanted to go into the particular field. When you say ten years from now, there are a few things that come to mind. My plans and goals in life are very basic. We all know when growing up we want that picture-perfect ending with the house, car, kids, and the dog. Ten years from now after having met the girl of my dreams. She is beautiful.
I plan on getting married and eventually raising my children.Having a large family was something I always wanted. However, on behalf of a big family I would have to wait at least 20 years for that. My other goal is to become a homeowner and decisively move out of my parent’s house; to a new location where my job and family permits. While establishing a secure foundation, as well as, maintaining a steady job is essential for raising children and preventing financial difficulties, I must also look at all the time lost and all the pleasurable memories that can be created in that time.In the course of the next ten years I would have liked to travel and pursued some the hobbies that interested me. Spend time with my friends; many of whom, I might grow apart from or build new relationships ones that will remain in the future.
These experiences give me confidence and allow me to move smoothly to the next phase of my life. As I reflect on my childhood I have many dreams and aspirations that I would like to accomplish within the next ten years of my life. In ten years I can see myself having many of my goals accomplished, if not accomplished, I will be working on accomplishing those goals to fulfill my life.
