What Is a Mother? Essay

A mother could be your friend, teacher, mentor, adviser, and supporter. But it can your be your enemy, in a way that every time you get scolded by her, you always think you are right and you get the feeling of hating your mother and feels like she is your enemy but later on, you will realize the she is just making things right for you. But for me, my mother is the most influential person in my life. Each person makes different mistakes and passes through different experiences in life.

However, each of us have one person who has changed our lives in a huge way.So, when someone asked who has been the most influential person in my life without any hesitation, I knew it was my mother. My mother has impacted my life greatly and has helped me with becoming the person I am today. She helped me in many ways. She pushes my to be the best, she is always there for me, and she possesses good qualities that I try to obtain.

My mother is the most important person who has always supported me and gives me good advice. I was born and raised up in the Philippines. I used to have a complete family until my parents divorced when I was at the of 4 or 5 years old, so my mother took care of me.My father took care of my brother and my grandma took care of my younger sister. I grew up with a poor lifestyle. My mom never got a job so we just stayed to her sister’s house.

Every night, me and my mom talked stories until we talked about what’s going on with our lives. She felt sorry for me because i will grow up with a broken family. I still remember when she cried while talking to me because she felt pity for me because of what happen to our family and it broke my heart when I saw her crying, I cried too, We cried together. But whatever happens, she always find a way to raise me up.Everyday, my mom and her younger sister go to internet cafe just to go online and find a man that can support us. After how many years of searching, finally, she found someone that is willing to help us and it is my dad today.

But there is a painful news, my father died and I was still at the age of 9. So, my mom got my brother and because of my step dad, we got our younger sister back. My mom and my step dad get married. And my step dad decided to get us and that’s the reason why I am here. My mom did everything for us to have a better and successful future. My mother has faced many difficult challenges in life but she has always ound a way to overcome them and that is one thing I admire the most about my mother.

Sometimes, it amazes me how much we are alike since throughout my life I have also been faced with many difficult challenges and she has always been my inspiration to get through things. With everything my mother has been through, she inspires me to be the best person I possibly can be. Since I was a child, my mother has taught me how to become a stronger and positive person. And sometimes when I think about quitting, I remember the story of my mom and all the things she had go through and that makes me even stronger.She has always told me if I think positive, my life would be at advantage. She has taught me to always try my best, to treat everyone equally, to not give up when things get hard. She always tells me that, “God has a plan for us and just pray. “.

And that’s what I did, I always believe that everything happens for a reason. She is not only a mother, but also a mentor, a teacher and a role model to me. She inspires me to do my best and someday, i am going to make her proud of me so that she will realize that she is a good teacher and she taught me well. My mom, she is my everything and she is the most influential person in my life.
