This sides. The evidence for both sides
This debate has gone on forforty-eight years, with compelling arguments for both sides. The evidence forboth sides leaves women with unwanted pregnancies a hard decision, because ofthe idea of undoing a mistake.
This idea of undoing a mistake is the basis androot of the pro-choice arguments; whereas, truth is the basis for arguments andfacts for the pro-life arguments. The fear of losing the perfect future, theworry of being judged, and the need to fix the problem all blind people from thecruelty of abortion and justify the action of murder. With a root word beingabort which means to abandon, the word abortion is neither a morally justpractice nor a humane one.
Abortion is the intentional termination of a babywhile still in the mother’s womb. Abortions, although frequently practiced, isa form of murder. By choosing to discard a baby in a womb, you are killingsomething with a soul, heart, and emotion.
Most abortions typically happenduring the first twenty-eight weeks of pregnancy, but can leave regrets for alifetime. Women should not kill a child while it isin the womb since that is an act of murder. When people refer to a dead person,they say their heart has stopped beating in the same manner if someone’s heartis beating they refer to them as living.
Within about twenty-two days of pregnancy,a baby’s heart begins to circulate its own blood, thus putting it into thehuman category of living. Which then allows humans to categorize abortion asmurder. Remember the fact that every living human right now is alive becausetheir parents did not have an abortion, which sparks the question, “Wouldabortion be okay if your mother aborted you?” Another fact is that a fertilized egg is aseparate human being from the mother, considering if it was part of themother’s human being she would have two heads, two hearts, four legs, and fourarms for nine months. So, a young fetus in the womb is its own person. This personhas a response to anything that happens, for example when an abortioninstrument is put into the mother, the baby can move away from it. Researchshows that within twenty weeks, a fetal brain has all of the brain cells thatare present in an adult’s brain.
This means that an unborn baby at twenty weeksis able to undoubtedly feel pain. Although the Bible does not mention theword abortion, it shows that every life has value. One such example would bethat in Psalm 139: 13-15 says, “foryou formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’swomb. I praise you, for I am fearfullyand wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works;my soul knows it very well. My frame was nothidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in thedepths of the earth.” These verses say that God made each baby inside the womb,and by aborting that baby you are discarding or killing God’s wonderfulcreation at you own will. On the topic of killing, abortion is the murder of ayoung child.
The Bible also says not to kill in the ten commandments in Exodus.(Exodus 20:13) These verses show us evidence of what God thinks about abortionand about the murder of his precious child. A debate that has been going on forforty-eight years shows no sign of stopping, as people from all over the worldare confused about whether abortion should be not only legal but consideredhumane. People from both the pro-choice and the pro-life sides put theirevidence, stories, explanations, and reasons on the table for all people tosee. After hearing the two cases, people are left with a simple choice.
Theyare left with the choice between life and death, the choice between murder ormercy, the choice between ignorance and the truth. Now the people of America asa country must choose whether to let the next generation die off without atrace or see the light of our beautiful world, and the wise will always chooselife.
