To begin, the character Sargent Major Morris from the short story “The Monkey’s Paw” by W. W. Jacobs contains the character trait of being mysterious. Morris was a man from distant lands and full of unknown stories.

The Red Death had come without a trace unnoticed and slowly killed them all. Over all, The Red Death had a sneaky and stealthy personality leading up to a mysterious character trait. The Red Death is a stealthy character that not only can go undetected for a short while but also eventually kills everybody at the party. Like many stories and even real-life sinerios, a mysterious trait to somebody makes the other people more cautious and careful.
