Asa robot manufacturer, one requires a team of people that understand robotdesign, electronics, circuits and wiring – one also requires softwaredevelopers who can build and deploy firmware effectively, people who areexperts in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, security and wirelessnetworking. The software that peopleare trying to build to help with this is too decoupled from the hardware – fornow. Despite open-source libraries like ROS, OpenCV, Eigen etc., there’s still lots of extra work required to getan actual robot working.
