“It matters not what someone is born but what they grow up to be” and ” It isour choices that show us what we truly are far more than our abilities” arejust a few quotes from my favourite book series, The Harry Potter Series. Theseries consist of 7 books being Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, HarryPotter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and the Deathly Hallows.

In 2016 a newbook joined the series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Thebook series drawed in many young readers when it was officially published. 400million copies of the series has been sold in more than 200 countries in 68different languages and has taken 2nd, 3rd and 4thplace in the best selling book worldwide.

 Thebook is about a boy who struggles to enjoy his life until he leaves his aunt,uncle and cousin on his eleventh birthday where he leaves to Hogwarts to studymagic. Soon after he realizes that he is known as the boy who lived after thewicked wizard, Voldemort killed his parents. Throughout his years of learningat Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry, he makes friends, losessome and faces many crucial and fatal challenges including multiple visits fromthe dark lord himself. Thereason why this is my favourite book series is because of its different genres,being fantasy, mystery, fiction, drama and thriller. I also enjoy the storyline that the book is based on. It contains many interesting, hidden stories embeddedin the main story. Theseries has been a personal favourite of mine for a few years and will stay thatway for the years to come.
