In Pakistan in different areas their is different standard of education.upper areas are far away from the lower area in the terms of institute, literacy rate and facilities.main problem is that government do not pay attention to these problems.primary and middle level in Pakistan facing major problems regarding overall educational problems .

In government schools we do not have proper facilitates like furniture, boundary wall, toilets, books and trained teachers. The ratio of gender discrimination is also a other problem.poverty is an other problem in education that restricts the parents to send children in public or private sector.we can remove all these problems by making policy on large scale. Government should took interest in the backward area renew the school and provide all the facilities that big cities have.

give public awareness on education regular basis.                        Education In Pakistan “education is matter o life and death for pakistan. The world is progressing so rapidly that without requsite advance in education ,not only shall we lag behind others but may be wiped out altogather.”  Quid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah                     The education system in Pakistan is generally divided into six levels.Preschool(for the age from 3 to 5 years), primary(grades one through five), middle(grades six through eight).

high(grades nine and ten, leading to the secondary school certificate or SSC),intermediate(grades eleven and twelve, leading to a Higher secondary school certificate or HSSC),and university programs leading to undergraduate and graduate degrees. The literacy rate ranges from 96% in Islamabad to 28% in kohlu District between 2000 and 2004,Pakistan in the age group 55-64 had a literacy rate of almost 38%,those ages 45-54 had a literacy rate of nearly 46%,those 25-34 had a literacy had literacy rate of 72%.Literacy rate vary regionally, particularly by gender.in tribal area female literacy is 9.5%.Moreover,English is fast spreading in Pakistan, with more then 92 million Pakistanis(49% of the population)having command over the English language, which makes it one of the top English-speaking nations in the world. On top of that ,Pakistan produces about 445,000 university graduates and 10,000 computer science graduates per year.    GRAPH.

1           Educational Problemsl Lack of proper planningl Social constraints l Gender gapl Cost of educationl Fund for educationl Technical education  Lack of proper planning                   Pakistan is a signatory to MDGs and EFA goals. However it seems that it will not able to achieve these international commitments because of financial management issues and constraints to achieve the MDGs and EFA goals. Goal 2:the goal to of a MDGs is to achieve universal primary education (UPE) and by 2015,children everywhere, boys and girls alike, will be able to complete a full course of primary schooling.By the year 2014 the enrollment statics show a increase in the enrollment of students of the age 3-16 year while dropout rate decreased.

Goal 3: the goal 3 of MDGs is promoting gender equality and women empowerment. Its is aimed at eliminating gender disparity in primary and secondary education by 2005 and in all levels of education not later than 2015.There is a stark disparity between male and female literacy rate.the national literacy rate of male was 71% while that of female was 48% in 2012-13.Provinces reported the same gender equality.Punjab literacy rate in male was 71% and for female it was 54%.

In sindh literacy rate of male was72% and and female 47% in KPK male 70% and females 35%,while in Baluchistan male 62% and female 23%.Education For All (EFA)commitment: The EFA goals focus on early childhood care and education including ore-schooling, universal primary education and secondary education to youth, adult literacy with gender parity and quality of education as crosscutting thematic and programmed priorities.EFA review report October 2014 outlines that despite repeated policy commitments, primary education in Pakistan is lagging behind the achieving its target of universal primary education. Currently the primary gross enrollment rate stands at 85.9% while Pakistan requires increasing it up to 100% by 2015-16 to fulfill EFA goals. The estimated total primary school going 21.

4 million children of of ages 5-9 years, 68.5% an enrolled in schools,of which 8.2 million 0r 56% are boys and 6.5 million or 44% are girls.

Economic survey of Pakistan confirm that during the year 2013-14 literacy      Social constraints:              it is important to realize that the problems which hinder the provision of education are not just due to issues of management by government but some of them are deeply rooted in the social and cultural orientation of the people. Overcoming the latter is difficult and would require to change the attitude of the people, until then university primary education is difficult to achieve.Equality and Quality in Syllabus:                          we are facing many problems in our educational system due to different courses in different boards and provinces. At first govt. Should implement same courses and syllabus in all provinces and boards to make sure that every one should get same education.

Secondary education should order private as well as govt. Schools and colleges to implement one syllabus in classes and there should be no double standards like implementing Oxfords books in private sectors and implementing Text Board Books in Govt. Sectors.Gender gap:          Major factor that hinder enrollment of girls include l Povertyl  Culturall  Constraintsl Illiteracy of parentsl Safety and mobility of their daughters Society emphasis on girls modesty, protection and early marriages may limit family willingness to them to school.Enrollment of rural girls is 45% lower than the total of urban girls;while the boys the difference is only 10% showing that the gender gap is an important factor.these figure clearly show that how gender difference is important in education.

This is a big problem in our education system.   FIGURE.1  FIGURE.2  Cost Of Education               the economic cost is higher in private schools, but are located in richer setlments only. The paradox is that private schools is better but not in every where and government schools ensure equatable access but do not provide quality of education .

Fund for education               Currently Pakistan spending 2% of its GDP on education, which in fact is quite low, even when compared with our neighboring countries. In year 2014-15, the federal and provinces governments allocated Rs61 billion for education which is an increase of 11% compared with previous years comparison.Considering this huge public spending on education, a question that pinch a common citizens why the educational situation is not improving in public sector institutions.Although many factor contribute to itSalary constitute roughly 80% of the total education budget for all the provinces ,implying that their is not much left for the non-salary and development schemes. So their is not much for the school development that’s why their is lot of problem in the primary schools like:l Schools without boundary walll Schools without disks and chairsl Schools without toiletsl Schools without fresh drinking water FIGURE.3   over 18,339 Punjab schools functioning without proper boundary wall while around 22351 schools have been running without having any security guard. Moreover, around 145201 female and male teachers have been teaching in above mentioned schools.Photos of school in Punjab without boundary wall.

PHOTO1,2     This is a school in one of the district of Punjab lacking all the facilities of school. Children are force to be sit in the on the ground without any desk and chairs.Even their is no boundary wall and just side of this there is a railway track and road.

This is a only one example thousand of other are present.Meanwhile, several schools having lacking basic necessities of life.Around 13700 schools have no facilities for providing proper drinking water to student and administration staff.Around 22206 schools have no proper washroom facility with the school limits.Around 5121200 have been functioning in Punjab without any science laboratory. System in private sector:                      Government should take specific step to end cramming system in education from government as well as private sector and implement system of practical work, so the every student gain more knowledge by doing research on that specific topic or subject, unlike “Ratta”Cramming) system where student have memorize everything for short period of time which teachers gives him/her.The other thing in private sector is that a man who can do nothing in any profession come to the teaching profession.

In private schools even metric pass teachers teaching to the metric class. So we easily realize that how knowledge student are getting from them.                                  Recommendationsl Providing economic incentives to the students may encourage the parents to send their children to school and may help in reducing the dropout ratio.l There are two approaches to acquiring education:First , which is followed by many in Pakistan is to get education for earn Bread and Butter.

The second approach is to get the education for the sake of personal development and learning.this approach is followed by economically stable people who send their children for private school and abroad for the sake of personal interest and development. The problem arises when non.effluent families send their children to the private schools, and universities.

this aspiration for children to sending for higher education wrong.this for sending one children to higher education is wrong because country do not only need managers and officers their are other job they needed.l Change budget division in education.Increase budget allowance for the development of schoolsl Encourage parents to be active in their children’s education. The degree of child success is directly related to the involvement of parent.Cities can encourage the parents to get more involved in children lives.

l Invest in the preschool programs, quality child care and early literacy. Government should invest on primary level to enroll more children in the school. provide them books and all facilities to change the mind of a student into this environment.l Take action against the schools those who preffered different syllabus other then the Govt. Text Boards Books.                sg Conclusion        The reforms required in the education system of Pakistan cannot be done by the government alone, public-private participation and a mix of formal as well as non-formal education can pull out majority of country’s population from illiteracy.

similarly to make the youth of the country an asset, attention should also be paid to vocational and technical training.Government should give awareness on the education of girls in the urban and tribal areas and make policies. Maintain qualified and well trained staff in the private and as well as government sectors.government should not ignore the backwards areas of Pakistan give all the facilities to them. Universities and colleges should be made in those areas for those student who can not afford to go big cities. But these changes should be done on large scale and it can be only done when the our system of education is reorganized.
