What are the measures of both the positivity and the negativity of the usage of communication in organizational arrangements? How does this particular element of success affect the behavior of the members in a certain business organization? These questions shall be carried on through the discussions presented within the paragraphs that follow.Communication and Its Role in Organizational Progress     The interpersonal connection that communication particularly creates between people around the organizations actually creates the environment that the said groups of people are supposed to work in. there are particularly five major areas with which communication is particularly involved in the progressive process of the organizations in business:(a)     Communicating for the sake of passing informationThere is a need for constant passing of information especially for organizational members. The idea is that the regular way of people communicating with each other would indeed keep the organization unified and intact for the sake of continuous business progress.(b)     Communicating for organizational update on progressWhatever the company deals with, the members should know of all of them. This is for the sake of the establishment of trust among the employees as well as the organization’s administration section.

It is through the application of regular communication that the progress reports could be utilized to motivate the other members of the organization.(c)     Communication for motivational purposesAs mentioned earlier, there is a specific need for the people of the organization to take specific steps in being able to perform well for the sake of organization’s progress. To be able to come to a meeting point between the administrators and the employees, it is then necessary to take advantage of communication.

Through the open line of communication that exists between the two said parties, it is then obvious that the changes could be given chances of being fulfilled as both sides of opinions are already able to relate to each other’s needs and expectations form the organization as well as form each other.(d)     Communication for the sake of advancement as an organizationIt is necessary that there exists an open line of communication between all the people making up the organization because of the fact that much of the progress procedures would rely on the ways that govern the ways by which the said people are able to connect with each other through speaking with each other. Their unity, their connection with each other towards progressive efforts relies on their capabilities to talk to each other and support each other through the use of communication.(e)     Communication for the sake of implying lawTo be able to keep the whole organization at the right track, there is a necessity for the administration to imply the laws of business within the operational engagements of the employees as this would particularly identify the limitations and the capabilities as well as the benefits that the company has further provided for the employees. Communicating to the employees on why the said set rules are necessary to be followed by the people working within the organization shall then make it easier for them to cope up with the organization’s rules and thus keep a clear track of the changes that they need to face as they are staying with the said organization.     From the discussion of the five-point reasons of why communication in the continuing process of a particular organization’s growth, it could be noted that the price that keeping the communication lines open pays is much essential for any organizational progress procedures. Constant attention given to the procedures of communication shall indeed bring forth fine results for the whole team or group that works their way on towards advancements.

These five concepts of communication obviously involve the presence of arising conflicts within the process. As obviously mentioned in the explanation, the individuality of each member of the organizations actually notes the possibility of developing conflicts between them. It is through the usage of effective dealing with conflict could the organizations survive the procedures of dealing with their member’s individual differences. Facing destructive conflicts may not be as easy as with dealing with the constructive conflicts. This is primarily because of the fact that destructive conflict aims to destroy the thinking and the perception of the parties involved, whereas constructive conflict could still be turned around just to be able to use the conflict as key reasons for human motivation.

[e.g. competition-based conflicts could bring in the possibilities of people wanting to achieve better than the others; thus constructive enough for the organization’s growth].The Levels of Communication and How Issues of Conflict in Teams are to be Dealt with     Conflict is viewed in organizational set ups as process creating progress possible for the organization. Through the undeniable implications of human empowerment when being involved in healthy conflicts, the growth of the organizations is ensured.

Thus through this particular explanation, it could be noted that conflict is viewed as balancing agent that sets the differences of individuals around the world in an equal manner. To be able to understand this, it has been more clarified by philosophers of human communication that conflict is a mere mediation that sets the different vectors of power in a modulated manner that they are primarily applied to support the differences of each individual living within the human communities around the world.     Making use of conflict as an agent of equalizing the differences, business organizations are sure to gain strength from the said idealism. As mentioned earlier, competition among organizational members is one particular form of conflict. However, instead of seeing it as a major source of conflict of differences in the organization, it could be used as the key matter that could motivate people in achieving higher than what the others is able to achieve. In this track, the conflict of competition is already viewed as something that is healthy for the organizations’ sake. How could this be implied? Here, the power of the authorities or the organizational leaders already comes in.

The capabilities of the leaders to assist the members of the organization see competition in this manner; leadership involvement is particularly helpful; especially when organizational changes are expected to occur within specific time frames.     It is necessary that every organization take changes every now and then. The fact is that change is the primary reason why several organizations are able to spot the different aspects of possible progress that the organization could be undergoing in the near future. However, to be able to make change, a fine leader should be ready to face the challenges of the new venture that the organization tries to engage into.

As based from the movie Coach Carter, it is indeed obvious that the change that he intended to make among his teams created problems with regards the reaction of the people. This particular situation in the movie actually presents the change that goes beyond the norms. Normally, people are not that open to change. However, through the use of transformational leadership, a person who aims to implicate the changes within the organization certainly is given a fine chance of showing that he can face the impending challenges that may hinder him from keeping up with the needed changes. It could be observed then that the leaders are indeed expected to have the capabilities of transforming the opinions of people to be able to coincide with the thoughts and the practices that they ought to imply within the organization. To be able to understand the situation better, it could be noted that the leaders are to have the necessary characteristics that they need to apply in dealing with the situations that they are usually faced with in their position as group motivators.

There are necessary points that need to be considered in this particular situation. The said points are as follows:     (A)People-focused leadership     It is necessary that leaders are able to take into consideration several strategies that are able to meet the needs of the people that they serve. Certainly, it could be noted that the responsibilities of the leaders are primarily people-centered. The profit and everything else comes in a secondary state as leadership is primarily created to be able to direct people towards the progressive state of the organization.     (B)Ethical Based policing     It is always essential to carry into consideration the ethical measures of the procedures that are being adapted by organizational leaders. It is only through the ways by which the people are able to get the satisfaction that they need that the leadership of one particular person could be considered successful. Hence, the ethical standards that are set for business policing should constantly be observed by the business leaders as they are expected to have a closer observation of the intensity of the application of ethics within the system of business operations.

(C)Giving personal assistance to people who are concerned in the change“Empathy” is one of the primary characteristics that fine leaders should posses. It is then necessary that the leaders of any organization have this particular attitude towards others especially when dealing with critical and complicated issues within the relational aspects of employees and the administration as well.(D)Personal Concern for the employee’s needs and expectationsThe individual’s that make up an organization are people who have their own needs and expectations from the company. If one particular leader is able to know and thus provide that particular need, it is then possible to have a more personal-focused system within the organization that could lead to a more progressive future for the entire business.

Hence, this particularly means that the changes that organizations are required to meet every now and then requires an amply amount of patience and courage from the leaders. Aside from that, it also requires sturdiness when it comes to decision making on the part of the leaders. The policy of “what must be implemented must be implemented” should always be carried on through by the leaders with an ample scaling of the ethical values that are involved within the situation. Yes, the fact that leadership is not an easy challenge that needs to be conscientiously met identifies the qualities and the attitudes that leaders or aspiring organizational head personnel should posses. Hence, a leader is then supposed to face the said challenges in full courage and knowledge of the strategies that need to be applied in particular situations that they are to meet; and among the challenges to be met is that of organizational conflicts.

Communication: How the Leaders of the Team Could Take Control[How communication affects the process of decision-making]     Conflicts in organizations are likely to occur in different levels influencing the growth of the entire business group. For instance, ethical measures of business operations may be noted as one factor that could contribute to the process. On the other hand managerial operations may also increase conflict between members of the business organization. Because humans are directly different from each other, it is undeniable that conflicts between opinions and personal ideas are likely to occur. This especially involves decision-making procedures in organizations. In a certain organization, decision making plays a very important role.

In management, specifically decision making is considered the core of the job. The process of this so called task is quite intangible. Although two techniques are usually known, the formal and the logical judgment, it is still considered a complicated task. On this area of business existence, it is very important that the decision maker is able to understand how he should meet the requirements for what he is deciding on. Very little is known about how the human brain arrives at a decision. According to Martinez (1983), “Introspection sheds little light on the subject because it is difficult to analyze one’s own thought processes”.

But although this is true, formal logic, which is usually learned in school, could always be applied when making decisions. This though would involve a certain standard agreeable result. Ethics as for example, is such an important aspect of decision making. It is much more considerable for a decision maker to follow some morally acquainted process to arrive at a certain solution when facing a certain situation an organization. What is considered ethical when making decisions come to the picture? First, it involves analyzing or identifying an occurring situation, next is knowing and exploring the alternative solutions for the issue and third is the implementation and evaluation of the gained results. Considerably on this area, strong perception is required.

Dealing with certain organizational situations is not an easy job as the existence of the whole organization depends on it. According to Boatright (2000), “The theories and school of thoughts form a basis for beliefs about natural obligation, rights and justice”.  This particular line of proof shows how complicated the work of a decision maker is.

Yes, managers should really be alert to implement the standard process whenever they have to deal with some organizational disturbances. Another way of morally acceptable process of decision making is following the cycle of evaluation, planning, and improvement. This is when a certain situation is dealing with the long-term goals of a company or organization at that.

Thus, this would require good management skills, good practice and excellent performance. This cycle of process is usually useful when the decision maker is faced with a situation where the facts are clear and there are choices such as right or wrong which are obviously presented. On the other hand, using this cycle on a more complex and complicated situation might not be that effective. It is very true that however people understand different situations in a certain company, it will naturally affect our performance may it be as a work force or that of a member of the society where that company is associated with.

In turn, this would affect so much the existence of the company in a certain community.  Whatever people believe as ethical and morally acceptable is always considered by the company. By this, people should always be careful with how they use their perception regarding several goals and, visions and abstract of a certain company. This will indeed help the members of the organization coexist with the company and the other way around. Indeed, decision making is very important. And however people as individuals perceive on this aspect of business should consider the ethical and moral aspect of behavior.

Whatever people think and however they understand situations is a vital part of a company’s existence. This particular process of decision making should increase the capabilities of the managers, the leaders or the authorities of an organization to face the challenges of merging the elements of conflict with the attempted used procedures aimed to imply progress on the system. Doing so would involve applying tactics of meeting organizational conflicts along the way. These tactics include the effective application of leadership among the authorities of the organization towards the members of the said business groups. In the book Spiritual Dimension of Leadership, the authors of the said reading material deliver their points of views on how to develop the intellectual insight regarding and spiritual beliefs.

Based on the achievements of the authors Dr Paul D Houston and Dr Stephen L Sokolow, their main points are to express by public education the true meaning of faith in leadership and how to become a more enlightened leader, by having a common purpose and common vision. Through the said book, they discussed their hopes and dreams for themselves as well as for the public education, for the different leaders and for the world. Their major goal is to build a strong public education that will help the children to easily enhance their skills, and to support the needs of the students primarily with regards the moral and spiritual values. Thru public education, the different kinds of beliefs can easily be discussed in formal and legal ways, and public education is the best opportunity to build different essential concepts that will connect the people within the human society. Another goal that these two authors frequently develop is the “Dimension of Leadership”, though leadership is a great privilege to a person who has the chance in having the skills needed for it, the authors define the exact value of what are the valuable insights that a perfect leader should have. Also the responsibilities of the leader, which should always be his major priority for the benefits of his community; this will lead to a wellness and successful organization in the society that he serves. Wise leadership in spiritual, moral, and educational program is one of the major keys in a certain country’s future success; it is the best way to create a fruitful result that can give hope to the citizens of a particular society.

Conclusion     Within the discussion presented within this paper, it could be observed that communication is indeed a vital part of the major reasons behind the importance of building a fine foundation for the organization’s communication background. With the essential points of communication considered, it is undeniable that being able to connect with the members of the organization in a constant manner is indeed a must in organizational progress. The impact of the idea of improving the procedures of communication within teams is a fine indication of the wanting of the entire group to have measurable goals towards the future of their group that would likely help on the gradual progress that their organizations are expected to take later on.

Constant application of effective communication within the different procedures of connection that the organization undergoes is a special matter of concern that needs to be refurbished every now and then. Leaders of team arrangements are usually to be noted as huge control commanders of these particular member-connections in the group. Through understanding the different concepts of communication and how they are effectively used in actual application for team enhancement, the possibilities of improvements are increased and the level of understanding among group members is further enhanced as well. The Edge of Strategic Management     Strategic management is a contemporary approach formulated by the scientific society of modernized world regarding the aspect of management.

It is generally an approach in management and planning wherein certain steps and procedures are develop and systematically incorporated in the normal process to achieve the desired goals of the institution. This is actually plan with a general outlook in the present and the future where different aspects and factors are incorporated as a whole to develop a plan towards the objective. Implementation of the said management strategic is viewed to post certain advantages and disadvantages to the institution and management in general.     Strategic planning is viewed to possess many advantages in the management aspect of the institution. These advantages manifest as this approach generally maintains the focus of the group towards their objectives and goals.

Also, strategic planning also ensures that the different factors involved in the group’s action are indeed incorporated and be well regarded in their plan ahead of time. Management who uses this approach becomes fully aware of the things and aspect that must be dealt with thus minimizing the certain issues of uncertainty and disconcertment. In addition to that, the efforts of the groups are well distributed to all the works and issues that must be addressed thus, minimizing waste and worthless efforts.

However, strategic planning also do posts several disadvantages to the group and this is mainly related to cultural changes and ambiguity in the plan. Commonly, strategic planning comes in contrast with prevalent cultural trend in a certain locality thus, this approach also require change and adaptation when it comes to its implementation. Another is the ambiguity regarding the planning part where the strategy is mainly formulated with underestimation and overestimation, coordination failure, failure in following the created plan, resistance to the implementation of the plan, and others.     If critically analyzed, it is evidently true that the advantages of strategic planning do outweigh is disadvantages regarding the achievement of the goals and objective of the group. The main roots this approach flaws can actual be viewed to be in relation to the culture trend and the planning itself. Strategic planning is indeed relevant because it can actually focus the efforts of the groups to the objective and keep all pertinent issues and aspect at perspective however, the plan itself must be created with the participation of every individual in the group for it for efficiently function.

The group itself is composed of different individual and that their presence and support is indeed valuable thus they must all be regarded in the aspect of planning. If this concept if significant implemented in the formulation of the strategic management approach then the said value can actually be advantageous for the group towards the achievement of their primary goals and objectives. Conclusion     Social diversity in every organization is a common concept mainly because of the differences of the people involved in the said group. In this aspect, individuals tend to conflict and clash against each other due to their differences thus an efficient management system must be established.

However, in the organization of the managerial aspects, mangers also tend to have different decision-making styles that are unique to each individual. For the effectivity of the management system, these differences must be addressed and incorporated in the process making it strength of the organization. The differences in the decision-making styles of the members of the management are concepts that can be overcome through certain ideas. As these differences in the decision-making styles can cause conflicts at some points, a management system must be implemented towards the managers for the effectivity of their functions and responsibilities. A system of hierarchy of orders must be established for the managers to organize their decision-making functions. This will ensure that the management command towards the organization will be thoroughly communicated and transmitted to all the managers incorporating in the process their different styles and approaches. Another approach is to acknowledge the uniqueness of each respective decision-making style and establish a system that will incorporate this concept for the most suitable case or scenario. Different positions and management fields can be created to handle each scenario and tasks respectively.

For example, a manager with the most suitable decision-making style such as an analytical perspective can handle ht financial aspect of the management system. Through these approaches, the management aspect of the organization can utilize that diversity of their managers’ decision-making styles as strengths of their organization promoting their effectivity and success through utilizing the differences of their manager’s potential for the aspect of management range and development system.References:Hill, Charles W.
