Kitty Hawk is the third book of six in the I,Q series written by Roland Smith and is a great read that you should read. The story is a first person narrative throughout most of the book, although at times the perspective switches to a different character that is also in first person.
The book is about a boy named Quest (Q) and his stepsister Angela Tucker, who are helping to stop a terrorist cell that’s one of the biggest in the world. One of the protagonists in this book is Angela’s real mother, Malak Tucker, a former Secret Service agent who faked her own death and took the place of her sister, who was an infamous terrorist that died in a bombing. Malak is helping Q and the others stop the terrorists by infiltrating them from the inside. Her balenging act of a life is one of the main issues in this book. The other is that the terrorists have the president’s daughter and are a ghost cell, which means they can disappear in they had toThe first reason why anyone should read this book is the fact that it is very suspenseful all the way through, this is shown in this quote.
“He crushed the cigarette out, put on his stocking cap, then pushed the cart through the sliding glass doors hoping there wasn’t a sniper bullet waiting for him as he crossed the parking lot.” A sentence like that makes you wonder what’s going to happen next. Just a couple of them are Eben Lavi (a rouge Israeli Mossad agent) and Malak’s father, Ziv but this is not his real name.
Every character in this book is just as exciting, a few more characters are Boone (he has a dog named Croc which has some unexpected powers), X-ray, Vanessa, John Masters, the President of the United States J.R. Culpepper and his daughter Bethany, and much more.The final quality that makes this book a great book that you need to read is the intriguing plot. “The Tahoes aren’t there just to throw us off track. ” when you find out that there are four car bombs all going in different directions all the busy areas filled with people, it’s hard to stop reading. There are many more twists and exciting things happening in the book has an intriguing plot that makes you want to read more, but I can’t spoil that. In conclusion, Kitty Hawk is a must read that will always have you on the edge of your seat. It has suspense, interesting characters, and an intriguing plot, what more do you want from a book.
