The corporation is the world’s largest consumer health company, the world’s largest and most diverse medical devices and Diagnostics Company, the world’s fifth-largest biologics company, and the world’s eighth-largest pharmaceuticals company. Johnson & Johnson has more than 250 operating companies in 60 countries employing approximately 129,000 people. The Johnson & Johnson headquarters is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Johnson & Johnson’s brands include many well known household items such as: Band-Aid, Tylenol, Johnson’s baby products, Neutrogena skin care, Clean & Clear skin care, and Acuvue contact lenses. The most admirable trait that Johnson & Johnson has is its commitment to diversity. They have been recognized and have received many awards for their accomplishments in diversity. Johnson & Johnson ranked number 11 in The DiversityInc list and number 8 in The DiversityInc list of top 10 Companies for Executive Women.

They were also one of the top 50 companies for Latinas to work in the USA, and the United Nations awarded Johnson & Johnson the 2011 Humanitarian of the Year Award. DiversityBusiness. com has also named Johnson & Johnson one of the “Top 50 Organizations for Multicultural Business Opportunities”. DiversityBusiness. com is a virtual networking organization specializing in connecting minority-owned and woman-owned businesses with corporate America.

Johnson & Johnson was ranked 16th out of 50 organizations. Johnson & Johnson is not only a very successful household brand but it’s a company that is very admirable when it comes to diversity. Johnson & Johnson’s credo states that the company’s first responsibility is to its customers, then to its employees, the community and, finally, to its stockholders. Johnson ; Johnson also provides training for health care workers in Tanzania and Ethiopia in order to provide prenatal and obstetric care for mothers and newborns. Another remarkable global healthcare resource that Johnson ; Johnson contributes is the manufacturing of vaccines in Incheon, South Korea. It is one of the largest facilities in the work and makes half of all pentavalent vaccines, which are, a combination of vaccines for diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B, and haemophilus influenza.Johnson ; Johnson also commits to donating mebendazole for treatment of intestinal worms in children in developing countries through their Children Without Worms. I have a lot of respect for how Johnson ; Johnson makes diversity a priority within their company and how they education their employees on diversity. If Johnson ; Johnson had a local company in the Massachusetts area I would definitely want to work there.

I have admiration for how Johnson ; Johnson are humanitarians and help people globally around the world with heath care.They care about all people of all cultures and they have many support groups for all cultures and they help so many people around the world.
