A company invests time tothe employees in order to get productivity from them and if the employee isunable to be productive and misuses the time, the act is considered to beunethical. Misuse of time consists activities such as gathering in mass around the workplace engaged in gossips during the working hours, misusing theresources provided by the organization, surfing onthe internet without a specific purpose, arriving late to work orleaving early from the workplace, engaging in the personal job instead of focussing on the work, etc.·        Intentional Deception: In a workplace,on purpose deception concludes taking credit forsomeone else’s work, framing sickness to enjoy the leave at home or destroyingwork done by others.

They are some of the exampleswhich can cause damage by using an individual’s faith and not respecting theirbasic rights. In an organization, these type of activities results in some disputeswhich are not healthy for the workplace.·        Illegal Activities: Some of theunethical activities in the workplace might be considered as illegal too.Supposedly, if an employee gets access to the sensitive data of the organizationsuch as classified files, financial records, account details, etc could resultin a physical security breach and crimeslike identity theft and accessing the employee’s personal details for own benefit, engagingin scandals etc. This could result in a huge loss to the organization and theperson with unethical behavior could be fined or shall be considered a criminalafter attempting such illegal act.·        Coercion: In other words can be explainedas the action where someone is persuaded by force or threats to perform a task.

Suppose an employee is capable of performing a certain task according to theirskills in a specific period of time, but the employer provides them with a taskwhich requires a further level of skillsand threatens for a replacement. In this situation, the employee has to go against his/her morals and engage in the workknowing that they will not be productive enough.
