Dear Sir or Madam,I am very glad to apply for a position in theJoint International Master in Smart Systems Integration program. I haveattended my B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from AmericanInternational University-Bangladesh (AIUB). After learning a lot in my bachelorstudies, now I wish to expand my technical knowledge of smart systems and thenturn my focus towards their wide-scale applications in mobile phones,automotive, semiconductor and biomedical industries, sensors, smart homes,aerospace etc. I have found that the subject material covered by the coursewill best suit my career goals.

What I learned in the undergraduate program in Electrical &Electronics Engineering formed the root of my determination towardsachieving a comprehensive knowledge in the field of Micro & Nano SystemsTechnology. I studied various subjects relating to diverse aspects of Electronics Engineering asa part of my degree course which includes Electronic Devices, Analog& Digital Electronics, Digital Logic Design, VLSI Circuit Design, ControlSystem etc. These subjects offered both depth and breadth acrossthis field. It also showed the importance of Electrical & Electronic Engineeringand its application based problems faced by the real world. My decision to pursuegraduate studies in Europe is highlighted by my desire to be a part of thegraduate program at your institution. The development of Sensors and Actuators,Complex System Designing etc. are some of the revolutionary works going on bythe Department of Electrical Engineering at your institution which perfectlymatch with the field of my interest. I am very confident that I can contributeto the ongoing work at your department.

I saw very prominent facultiesinvolved in extensive research in this area from the department websites. Thishas motivated me more to choose this course. I shall certainly be able toexploit my potential to the fullest by working under one of these notablefaculties.

If I get the opportunity to be a part of this world-renowned program,I am sure my talents will be put to ideal use.Other than my academicstudies, I was actively involved in the extra-curricular activities as well. Iwanted not only to be a well-educated person but also to develop all the aspectsof my personality.

With determination, perseverance and hard work, I excelledin my graduation with distinction. I was awarded two times Dean’s List Honorfor my GPA in both Fall 2016-17 and Spring 2016-17 semesters. I obtained mybachelor degree with a CGPA of 3.98/4.00. Besides, My English languageproficiency is good.

I am planning to sit for IELTS exam very soon. From thevery early days of my bachelor studies, I was focused to develop my skills inbuilding different projects and exploring new areas. That’s why I participatedin various seminars, workshops, robotics competitions arranged by variousorganizations and clubs of my university. Therefore, I strongly believe that myeducational qualification and motive towards the subject matter makes me asuitable candidate for your program.I was under the guidanceof my seniors from the University of my own and as well as others. I learned alot from them. Other than for myself, I wanted to contribute to the society aswell. I think it is our duty as people to make our future better because thefuture is not only ours.

From my seniors, I learned about a non-profitableengineering organization that worked solely for the engineering students. Theirvision and mission matched with mine. That’s why I joined in that organizationnamed Engineering Students Association Bangladesh (ESAB). At first, I startedas a volunteer in my University and later worked as one of the secretaries ofthat organization. I learned a lot about organizing skills working in thatorganization.

I worked with the best team and arranged several workshops andnational events such as Global Robotics Challenge-2016, National Power Week-2016,Techfest Bangladesh Rounds-2016 etc. I tried my best to learn as much as I can.I know, I have many limitations and I need to learn a lot more. All I need is achance to prove myself. Furthermore, I feel this scholarship will give mea big chance to be one day someone who is remembered for his innovations.

I am positivethat being able to study in Europe will widen my prospects and also will giveme an opening to gain the world-class education.I would, therefore, feel obliged to be able tosecure admission to your prestigious university with full financial assistanceand pursue my M.S. program.
