Contents of Del Rey’s Sword Woman Announced Essay

Rusty Burke has just announced the contents of Del Rey’s Sword Woman and Other Historical Adventures over at the REHupa blog.

The book will be available January 25, 2011.In addition to the stories and verse, the book is profusely illustrated by John Watkiss. The volume also features an introduction by Scott Oden, author of the new historical adventure, Lion of Cairo, an essay by Howard Andrew Jones, Howard fan and noted authority on Harold Lamb, and Rusty’s detailed notes on the original texts.The book kicks off with the rarely published “Spears of Clontarf,” set in 1014 AD and features virtually all of Howard’s best historical stories.
