Aggressions in the Youth of Pakistan Essay

The youth of today is the future of tomorrow. Youth are the representative of energy, happiness and freshness. Life is the synonym for youth. They are innovative and always ready to face challenges. Shams ur Rehman said “Youth is the time to join war, youth is the time to fall in love” this quotation highlights the two very distinct faces of a coin. Young generation is always considered as a symbol of aptitude but even they have some imperfection. As citizen of our country, today’s young generation is tomorrow’s guardian, tomorrow’s directors.

If they failed to fulfill their duty towards our society, our next generation will be the ultimate sufferer. To secure the future of our next generation youth should made concerned about their duty. They should be guided properly. To build a nation one should build its youth and only this way our country will gain respect in the world among other nations. Our Pakistani society has fallen into the pits of misery, corruption, unemployment. This has given birth to aggression in our youth. Our youth is a large portion of our population and it has great potential but it is not channelized properly and hence it is not able to gain a lot but its losing a lot. There are a number of factors which have caused this aggression among Pakistani youth. Unemployment is the major source of stress in our country. Unemployment has created frustration and the root of which is increasing illiteracy rates in our country. Through education only, we can help save our youth from the clutches of poverty, crime, drugs, and hopelessness, and to help safeguard our Nation’s prosperity for generations yet unborn.

Amidst all governmental hope about giving priority to education there is still a stark difference of quality education provided in private schools and in public school, this difference has caused hatred among people forming the status quo. This leads to brain drain, as there simply isn’t room to accommodate a large part of our educated youth. And what is more unfortunate is that most of our talented and educated students end up doing menial jobs here or abroad. If one generation is educated the whole scenario of the country will automatically change in a few years.

The youth at least will be able to make a clear distinction between the good and the bad. They will be able to open up opportunities in new and newer fields each day they will work for the betterment of the society so that the aggression in our youth caused due to unemployment can be completely eliminated. The conditions at the political front are more or less the same. The politics of Pakistan is corrupted by its bearucrates and politicians who are busy satisfying themselves and their wishes paying little or no heed to the demands of the masses the youth in particular who due to lack of opportunities is misguided and lost.

There is nothing but worries for most of the people in our country. Numerous stories of corruption, loot and massacre across the country are heard all day long. There is no one with a clean past to run the matters of the state. Intolerance, arrogance, hypocrisy is plenty in our country. Kidnappings and killings are rampant. Suicide bombings and target killings have also become a common culture. Most serious crimes are committed in our country yet we rarely see people being punished for those crimes. This low or no law and order situation has made it difficult for the youth to earn an honest and fair income.

An air of pessimism and misery has developed in the country. This has caused our youth to turn towards drugs, alcohol and smoking in order to rescue themselves from the frustrations and adverse of the society. They lose relationships and live miserable lives. And when no hope or way of escape remains the youth enters the path of crime to overcome their depressions and helplessness. Recently the suicide rate among youth has also increased tremendously and the most common cause of this is aggression which leaves no option but to take one’s own life to free itself from the never ending frustration and hopelessness of the society.

We being the youth need to work for the betterment of our country instead of forming aggressions and grudges against it. We the youth need to find a way out of this intricate web of corruption and aggression for ourselves and for our future generations. it’s a fact that we lack the ideal situations and the ideal leaders which will lead to betterment in society. Plus the conditions aren’t welcoming enough, but this was more or less the case with everyone. No one has ever had everything handed over to them in a silver platter. No one is ever provided with the ideal situations for the best outcomes.

Changes never happen overnight, they take time. indeed there is always light at the end of the tunnel, if only we have the will and patience to go through it we find the light. Martin Luther King Jr. said: “Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase. ” We the youth are undoubtedly the biggest asset of our nation and its, our duty to serve the purpose of educating and enlightening our country. The aggression in the youth is caused due to the lack of opportunities because of which Pakistani youth is misguided and lost.

Now it’s our duty to explore newer horizon and to get out of this aggression simultaneously pulling our fellows along us. “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward. ” Martin Luther King Jr. the condition of our youth can be very easily and beautifully be related to this quote that even though we lack opportunities we should keep moving in order to excel slowly yet gradually then only we can reach our desired goals and aspirations.
