At extremely high temperature, almost 300°F (149°C), theplastic pellets have been melted. After the liquefaction of the plastic,molding takes place again through injection. The melt passed at extremely highspeed and pressure into the mold.

The mold is filled by the melt and some moremelt is added to overcome the plastic contraction after solidification andcooling.Step3: SeparationAfter the cooling ofplastic polymer, it has been separated from the mold and then passed from theconveyer belt automatically for further processing. Step4.

FinishingFinally, the frames havebeen smoothed. The abrasive machine smoothed the frames by removing rough edgesand extra plastic. Lenses:Lenses of x-ray glasseshave been made by using cardboard. The grade and thickness of the cardboardhave been depending on the designer’s choice. Before the cutting of the lenses,the cardboard sheets have been sent to the printing press. The printing pressdrawn sheets in the huge rollers machine.

The ink from the rollers have beentransferred to the sheets creating black and white spiral outward appearance.Step5: CuttingThe blanking machines cutthe lenses from the cardboard sheets, after the settlement of decoration. Thecardboard sheet rolled into stamper machine.

The stampers have a series ofmetal cookie cutters essentially to cut the sheet in the exact size and shapeof the lens. As the cardboard sheet have been rolled, stampers reached downtowards the cardboard and cut exact shape of the lens. Step6: ConditioningThe lens is positionedperfectly on the front side for the decoration after cutting. The shaped lens foldedover to make a double layered lens.Step7: Finishing Byusing puncturing machine, gaps are stamped into twofold layered focal points.

The cut-outs are put so that a metal bar with the same size as the craved gapscan punch through the center of each focal point. The focal point is at thatpoint opened and a plume is stuck over each gap. The focal point is at thatpoint refolded and stuck together.

The focal points are at that point connectedto the plastic outline. A groove on the outline interior each focal point rangepermits the cardboard focal points to snap in. The x-ray glasses are at thatpoint put into a plastic sack bundling and a cardboard card is stapled to thebest to shut the sack.
